Vietnam’s Plans $87 Million Biotech Complex in Dalat

Vietnam has committed $17 million and is seeking foreign investment of another $80 million to build the country’s largest biotech complex near the Central Highlands city of Dalat to focus on R&D for agribuisness. 

The project includes a technology transfer center and has the imprimatur of the science and agriculture ministries that envision specialists from throughout Vietnam working together on such projects as high-quality mushrooms, genetically-modified plants, cold-water fish, farm seeders and water-saving lawn sprinklers.
