Travel & Leisure Magazine includes four Vietnamese hotels in its latest listing of the world’s top hotels. Fewer than 100 are in Asia, and only China, India, and Thailand have more hotels listed than Vietnam. Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia have one hotel each on the list, Japan has two, Cambodia has three, and South Korea none.
Vietnam’s hotels on the list are the Caravelle and Park Hyatt in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hilton Opera and Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi.
In fact, Vietnam has many other world class hotels, not only in the two largest cities, but scattered along the 2,000 miles of coast and in the highlands — but the magazine’s list is another acknowledgement that Vietnam is coming into its own as a prime destination for tourism and business.
